![]() Visual scenes can be assembled through code, but this is often an extremely tedious process involving a great deal of trial and error. Gaia allows you to visually build a scene by placing and moving elements saved out from 3DS Max, Muon, and Luna. In addition, you can examine and edit the properties of these elements, including names, materials, textures, and animated textures. These elements can be wrapped into more powerful constructs provided by the scene graph level of the Apex SDK, such as ApexGroup, ApexLOD, and ApexActor. Throughout the process of building the scene, statistics such as the texture memory usage, numbers of objects, lights, and textures, and the frame rate at various viewpoints can help you analyze the complexity of the scene and make changes early in the pipeline.
